The Q Revo is a great choice if you are seeking a robot vacuum and mop that is middle-of-the-road. It provides a fantastic mopping experience, but it lacks the advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.
In tests it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats from medium-pile carpets. However, like cheaper models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to help you map your home.

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuums. It is loaded with features and impressive cleaning power, such as an area for dirt that is built into the base of charging. This robot can recognize your habits of cleaning, and suggest automated schedules that will give you an effortless cleaning experience.
The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once the system is set up you can begin the cleaning automatically with just one button. You can select a general clean, which prioritizes the removal of larger pieces of debris like cereal and rice. Or you can select two detailed mappings to ensure that your home is completely cleaned.
This robot vacuum performs well both on bare floors and carpets with a low pile. It can remove pet hair and clean large items up. It doesn't lose its suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It has a difficult time with high-pile or plush carpet, however iRobot claims it will improve in the future with new models.
The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which is focused on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that has an open-fronted, flat-fronted design. The company hopes that this will allow it to be able to hug walls and furniture. It's a great improvement over the traditional hockey puck shape of most robovacs, though we found it to be incrementally better than circular models.
iRobot also claims the S9+ comes with a superior filtering system that blocks tiny dust particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. It's a nice premise, however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the price cost.
Its smart navigation system uses a combination of sensors to remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology to map the interior. It can then clean your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and set cleaning times, and create virtual boundaries, so it can recognize areas that require more attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
When it is about robots that combine mopping and vacuuming the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are just as good as those found on higher-end models. And its mopping system is even better - its spinning pads clean your floors more efficiently than the vibrating pads.
The only issue is the lack of a second brush for deeper cleaning. However, it's not a big deal when you're looking to purchase one of the best robots available. The robo-vac's dust tank also bigger than those on many of its competitors and it takes only two or three cycles to fill it up, even at the highest dirt level.
In terms of the mopping system, I was amazed by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. Its two mopping modes at the lowest that are less aggressive than the more powerful ones, generate minimal noise, allowing you to work or watch TV without distraction. If it encounters an object, such as a wall or furniture piece it gently bumps into it before moving forward.
What really distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to run nearly completely on its own, with no need for human intervention. The dock of the robo-vac has multiple functions and will automatically move garbage into a bin hidden. It also washes and dries the clean water tank. The app will only notify you when something is not right for example, a low clean water tank or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to a full bin.
You can also create and combine actual rooms to alter the way that Q Revo manages your home. This feature is beneficial for those who have different flooring in different areas of your home or when you have to frequently get rid of clutter like clothes, toys, and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, removing debris from both carpets and hardwood floors in the first attempt. It is able to even remove wet spills, though I recommend wiping them dry with a damp cloth prior to sending the robot into.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop combo and more. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum that has a powerful suction that cleans hard and carpet floors, plus a rotating mop that scrubs tough stains. It also comes with self-cleaning bases that automatically cleans and empty mop pads, keeping them germ-free and ready for use again. It also comes with a brand new sensor system that better detects obstacles, giving it the ability to avoid falling over furniture or other objects.
The biggest difference over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that it has a sleeker, more modern design thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still quite large. It is more than two feet in the height and depth and weighs almost four pounds. However the robot as well as its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot j7.
This model is also more efficient than the X1 one, because it charges faster and can complete a cleaning of approximately 1,500 square feet with just one charge. It also has a larger and more durable dustbin that can hold more debris. This more info makes it easier to empty.
The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant as well as an app that can be used even when you're not at home. It also has more mopping modes and an intelligent routing feature that allows you to clean certain rooms or areas of your home instead of just following a set route.
The X2 Omni is the best robot at mopping. Its rotating mop pads remove tough stains and its motor creates a lot of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is also excellent, and it increases suction when it senses a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has a massive battery that can last for weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as effective as anything we've seen in a consumer-grade robot.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a top-quality mop and vacuum robot that comes with a variety of convenience features you aren't likely to find on robots of this price range. It has the ability to create precise floor maps, recognize different types of flooring, and it's one of the few robots that automatically wash and dry its mop pads. But while these functions are nice to have, they also push the L10s Ultra into the category of luxury, which might make it slightly more expensive than what some homeowners require.
The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It is slim and tall with a white finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine has a large bumper that protects the furniture and vacuum cleaner while moving around your home. Sensors are hidden behind the front panel, which helps the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top, you'll find a single button that essentially serves as the on/off switch. By pressing this button, you can activate the vacuum, while clicking it again will shut off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The circular menu located in the center of the control panel allows you to choose cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences.
